A blend of black tea (camellia sinensis) with the Australian bush herbs Mountain pepper (Tasmannia lanceolata), juniper berries (juniperus communus) and lemon myrtle (backhousia citriodora).A unique take on Aussie billy tea.
Along with the black tea, mountain pepper is high in beneficial antioxidants which reduce inflammation and support the immune system.
Juniper berries are high in nutrients like vitamin C, as well as antioxidants which help with brain function and protect against neurodegenerative and heart disease. They also help to balance blood sugar levels. Along with these benefits juniper berries are also antifungal and antibacterial and seem, in the lab, to mainly target the non beneficial and pathogenic bacteria.
Lemon Myrtle is delightfully lemon scented and contains citral, which is antifungal and and antimicrobial. Lemon myrtle helps fight infections and decrease muscle cramps, rheumatism and headaches. It helps control the pathogens which cause stomach ulcers, and helps decrease cellulite by stimulating collagen and strengthening the cell matrix.
