Taste: Sweet herbaciousness of raspberry leaf, red clover and chamomile, sourness of rosehip and hibiscus, earthiness of fennel, crampbark and mild bitterness of black cohosh.
Labour Ease and After Birth Tonic contains ingredients which are known to help prepare the uterus and surrounding muscles for childbirth. This combination of herbs can also be used for support during labour. The mix contains raspberry leaf for toning the uterus, calendula, red clover and chamomile for reducing pain from contractions in labour, a small amount of black cohosh which stimulates contractions, as well as shepherds purse which reduces the likelihood of haemorrhage by strengthening the veins.
Labour Ease and After Birth Tonic can be drunk from the 36th week of pregnancy as preparation, as well as during labour for energy and pain relief.
